Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking a Senior M&E Cost Manager to lead cost management for Mechanical & Electrical projects within Construction Advisory. You will work with Directors to deliver multiple projects and mentor junior staff, driving value and cost control across a range of healthcare, education, commercial and residential sectors.

The role requires BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management, Chartered status preferred, with strong numeracy and client advisory skills.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management (M&E).
• Chartered QS status with RICS/CIOB or equivalent preferred.
• Experience across Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Residential sectors, with a focus on M&E works.
• Knowledge of RIAI and FIDIC standard forms of contract.
• Experience preparing bid submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for M&E works from inception to completion.
• Manage multiple projects with senior supervision, typically €1m–€50m+ in value.
• Drive performance standards through effective communication and performance management processes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, elevating KPMG’s profile as a premium service provider.
• Mentor junior staff to deliver Cost Management for M&E efficiently and effectively.
