Job summary

AIR Sligo is seeking a dynamic Controls Engineer to join our automation team. You will design, develop, and implement advanced control systems for bespoke equipment for a global client base.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and at least five years' experience with PLC/HMI programming, robotics, motion control, and machine vision, with a strong commitment to quality and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in creating machine control systems.
• Experience with PLC/HMI/Robotics/Motion Control/Vision technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and specifications from User Requirements.
• Program and debug machine controls (PLC/HMI/Robotics).
• Research, develop, and implement new control technologies.
• Coordinate and manage controls elements of builds and debugging.
