Job summary

palebluedotrecruitment is seeking a proactive Automation Technician/Engineer in Wicklow, Ireland. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems to improve efficiency and reduce downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We require a candidate with a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal applicant should have strong PLC programming skills, particularly with Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems, alongside hands-on HMI and SCADA configuration experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience with automation systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in automation systems, minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and modifications.
