Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to oversee multi-project budgets, cost plans, procurement schedules, and contract delivery in a growth-focused environment in Cork.

You’ll lead project teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure on-time, in-scope delivery while managing subcontractor quality and Health & Safety compliance. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction and a Mechanical/Building Services background.

Qualifications

• As Contracts Manager, you will develop and manage project budgets and cost plans.
• You will lead multiple project teams, ensuring timely and on-scope delivery of contracts.
• Collaborate directly with key stakeholders to successfully deliver client projects.
• Manage and assess the quality of subcontractor work with regard to Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• As Contracts Manager, you will develop and manage project budgets and cost plans.
• You will lead multiple project teams, ensuring the timely and on-scope delivery of contracts.
• Collaborate directly with key stakeholders to successfully deliver all aspects of assigned client projects.
• Manage and assess the quality of subcontractor work while ensuring adherence to Health & Safety legislation.
• Support the Project Surveyor in managing contract costs, variations, and provide regular cost projections to the Construction Director.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring early intervention with design teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and schedule project activities with high accuracy and develop material procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
