Job summary

Specialist Engineering Contractor, based in Co Westmeath, Ireland, is recruiting a Contracts Manager – Engineering Projects. The role oversees multiple engineering projects from mobilisation through completion, requires strong project management and commercial acumen, and involves coordination with engineers, site teams and subcontractors to meet programme targets.

The position offers a salary up to €100k DOE plus car allowance, pension and healthcare, with a broad responsibility for project

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience managing engineering, mechanical or construction contracts
• Strong project and programme management experience is required
• Proven experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Must have strong commercial awareness and client management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage specialist engineering contracts from mobilisation through to completion
• Coordinate Project Engineers, site teams and subcontractors across live projects
• Monitor programme, resources, procurement and overall project performance
• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Work closely with the commercial team on variations, costs and contract performance
• Ensure works are delivered safely and to the required technical and quality standards
• Identify project risks early and drive practical solutions to maintain programme
• Provide regular project and contract reporting to senior management
