Malone Group is seeking a qualified PSCS to manage the client-site safety function, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations across large capital projects. The role includes resource planning, regulatory enforcement, and reporting on safety performance to the client.

The successful candidate will coordinate safety plans, conduct inductions, and lead toolbox talks to foster a proactive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

5–7 years’ experience in construction safety on large capital projects.
Knowledge and understanding of safety regulations, including construction and general industry standards.
Proven ability to solve complex safety challenges and provide practical solutions.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

Ensure sufficient competent resources onsite to fulfill PSCS role requirements, including holiday and sick leave cover and out-of-hours support.
Enforce applicable construction safety regulations and client-specific requirements, documenting non-conformances.
Compile and report safety statistics to the client as required.
Facilitate safety performance reviews, inspections, and audits.
Engage independent safety consultants for unbiased assessments as necessary.
Oversee safety compliance on all construction projects at the client site, including non-notifiable projects.
