Job summary

Vital Human Resources in Limerick is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, delivering on time, to budget and to specification.

You will coordinate structural steel, envelope and fit-out packages, lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and promote health and safety across all activities, with reporting and client liaison.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Proven Project Management experience in Tier 1 or large-scale construction/engineering.
• Experience managing major construction packages: structural steel, envelope, fit-out.
• Strong planning, budgeting, risk control, and stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant health and safety certification (Safe Pass, CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects through all phases, from planning to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, design and construction.
• Monitor progress, budget, and schedule against targets.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure quality plans, inspections, and method statements are followed.
• Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor performance.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
