Job summary

SSA Consulting Group in Dublin is seeking a Commercial Manager for a top-tier Building Main Contractor. You will lead budgets, procure strategic plans, and oversee subcontractor management on high-value, urban-scale projects.

Based in Dublin with hybrid working, you will report to the Commercial Director, identify risks, ensure contract compliance, document delays, and mentor a small team of QS staff while delivering across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• 10+ years experience within a Main Contractor environment.
• Proven experience managing high value contracts.
• Large-scale project experience in Ireland or the UK.
• MSCSI or working towards chartership.
• Valid working rights within Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Developing & managing budgets for large-scale projects.
• Leading procurement strategies and subcontractor management.
• Identifying risks and opportunities across contracts.
• Examining contract documents and ensuring compliance.
• Recording details relating to contractual delays.
• Mentoring a small team of QS professionals.
