Job summary

GCS Recruitment in Ireland is seeking an experienced Cloud/Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate scalable cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will automate deployments, improve observability, and drive platform reliability.

Applicants should have proven cloud engineering experience, strong automation mindset, and Python scripting or development skills. Containerisation with Kubernetes and AI/ML tooling exposure are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering cloud infrastructure at scale.
• AWS and/or Azure expertise.
• Experience supporting production-critical environments.
• Strong automation mindset.
• Python scripting or software development capability.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Support large-scale platforms across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Build automation frameworks and operational tooling.
• Enhance observability, reliability and platform performance.
• Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment processes.
• Develop infrastructure tooling with Python.
• Contribute to platform modernisation initiatives.
