Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Architect to drive the transformation of critical infrastructure into a modern, cloud-native environment.

You'll lead the design and migration across public cloud platforms, implementing Kubernetes platforms and IaC practices to improve resilience and scalability across the enterprise.

You will work on a large-scale modernization programme and coordinate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, automated cloud services.

Qualifications

• Architect and modernise core infrastructure in cloud-native environments.
• Produce production-grade Kubernetes platforms across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Automate with Terraform and modern IaC practices.
• Lead migration from virtualised to cloud-native platforms.
• Build resilient CI/CD pipelines with robust tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and modernisation of core infra in cloud-native environments.
• Design and implement production-grade Kubernetes platforms across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and IaC.
• Design multi-cloud infrastructure patterns and service networking.
• Support migrations from virtualised to cloud-native platforms.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Partner with engineering to improve resilience, scalability, reliability.
• Champion an everything-as-code approach across infra and ops.
