Job summary

U.S. Bank’s Elavon division is seeking a CLO Deal Administration Team Manager. You will lead a team handling CLOs, Private Credit, and Loan Funds, managing onboarding, reconciliations, settlements, and client servicing.

You’ll drive process improvements, maintain risk controls, and build strong client relationships while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Services within a similar role, including CLOs, Private Credit, and Loan Funds.
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational activities of the CLO Deal Administration team by planning and scheduling deliverables, coordinating with related departments, and ensuring work schedules are met.
• Monitor team performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, and quality measures, providing coaching, feedback, and development support to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Oversee a portfolio of CLO, Private Credit, and Loan Fund clients, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and within service levels.
• Maintain oversight of daily portfolio reporting, monthly cash and par reconciliations, loan trade and bond settlements, asset servicing activities, and exception management processes.
• Review and approve key team deliverables, ensuring adherence to procedures, risk controls, and client standards.
• Maintain a strong risk and control environment through oversight of processes, issue management, audit requests, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and succession planning to support growth and client servicing.
• Partner with Relationship Management, Analytics, Loan Administration, and other teams to support onboarding, closings, resets, refinancings, amendments, and ongoing servicing.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a senior escalation point and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Lead initiatives focused on process optimisation, automation, and operating model enhancements.
• Support talent development by training and mentoring junior staff and participating in recruitment and Early Careers Programmes.
