Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Senior Claims Litigation Handler for a leading Irish insurer. You will manage a portfolio of liability litigation claims, set case strategies, and liaise with expert witnesses to secure optimal outcomes.

You will collaborate with legal professionals, attend consultations and hearings, control costs through effective litigation tactics, and guide claims with governance compliance in mind. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• MCC qualified (CIP minimum) with a relevant professional or third-level qualification.
• Significant experience in general insurance claims, with expert knowledge of PL, EL, and Motor/Property claims.
• Proven ability to handle litigation, negotiate settlements, and work autonomously in live trial environments.
