Punch Consulting Engineers, a COWI company, invites applications for a Senior Civil Technician to join our Ireland team. You will prepare civil infrastructure drawings and 2D/3D models, manage drawings to high standards, and support site developments across Dublin, Cork or Limerick.

Towork with our teams in either Dublin, Cork or Limerick, we are looking for a Senior Civil Technician to join us. Working on the delivery of major structural projects you’ll plan and manage some of our most significant projects.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Preparing of civil infrastructure drawings / details for site development, roads infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, public health infrastructure, etc.
• Deliver project drawings to the required technical standards in a timely manner reporting to the project manager.
• Oversee and check standards on project drawings by Junior Civil Technicians.
• producing 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D model designs in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• To carry out site inspections and attend Design Team meetings.

On top of that,you’llhave:

• A Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD 2D & Autodesk Civil 3D is essential.
• Experience of using Autotask and Causeway Flow is beneficial.
• The ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and designs is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and IT skills.
• Proven commitment to CPD.
