Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join the Central Engineering team on large-scale data centre and advanced technology projects across Ireland and internationally. You will lead structural design of steel and concrete, perform calculations with standard software, apply Eurocodes, review drawings and deliver high-quality design deliverables.

This role requires 6–15 years’ experience, a BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering, and working towards

Qualifications

• BEng or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 6–15 years’ experience, ideally within a design consultancy.
• Strong steel and concrete design experience, including in-situ and precast.
• Good understanding of load paths and lateral stability systems.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer or similar.
• Working towards Chartership.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data centre and advanced technology projects across Ireland and internationally, within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural design of steel and concrete structures
• Design calculations using industry-standard software
• Application of Eurocodes and local standards
• Review of drawings, specifications and technical submissions
• Site inspections and monitoring of works
• Preparation of RFIs and technical submittals
• Supporting structural design packages and subconsultants
• Client/consultant meetings and technical reporting
• Ensuring quality and consistency across design deliverables

Requirements:
