Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking a Senior Engineer / Site Agent in Mayo to lead and coordinate site operations on major civil engineering road and bridge projects across Ireland. The role offers a long-term career path within a growing construction team.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 Civil Engineering degree, 10+ years' post-graduate experience in civil construction, and a track record delivering road and bridge projects valued over €1 million.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years' post-graduate experience within civil engineering construction.
• At least 5 years' experience in a Senior Engineer, Site Agent or similar position.
• Proven experience delivering road and bridge projects.
• Experience working on projects valued in excess of €1 million.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site operations on civil engineering projects.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and project resources.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and maintain project records and reporting requirements.
