Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Limerick is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 5+ years' experience to join our multidisciplinary team on residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across Ireland.

You will design SuDS drainage, water mains and road networks, produce detailed design packages, lead design meetings, and liaise with clients, contractors and authorities, with a hybrid working setup and benefits including pension and health insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Experience with drainage, water and road design from planning through construction.
• Sound knowledge of Irish standards (Uisce Éireann, TII, DMURS).

Responsibilities

• Design SuDS drainage systems, watermains and road networks.
• Deliver designs in compliance with Uisce Éireann, TII and DMURS standards.
• Produce detailed design packages, specifications and tender documents.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors and statutory bodies.
• Lead and attend design team meetings and liaise with Local Authorities.
• Work across civil and structural disciplines within a multidisciplinary team.

Senior Civil Engineer

Limerick

Senior Civil Engineer with 5+ years’ experience required to join a well-established civil, structural and traffic engineering consultancy in their Limerick office. Our client has a strong presence in Munster, delivering practical engineering solutions on a wide range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. The successful Senior Civil Engineer will work on a variety of civil and infrastructure projects across Ireland.

Projects:

• Private Residential Developments — High-Rise and Low-Rise
• Urban Realm
• Land Development Agency (LDA) Schemes
• Commercial Offices and Hotel Developments
• Industrial and Data Centre Projects

Role:

• Design SuDS drainage systems, watermains and road networks.
• Deliver designs in compliance with Uisce Éireann, TII and DMURS standards.
• Produce detailed design packages, specifications and tender documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong background in drainage, water and road design from planning through construction.
• Sound working knowledge of Irish standards including Uisce Éireann, TII and DMURS.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and InfoDrainage or equivalent software.
• Civil 3D experience desirable.
• Full clean driving licence.
