Job summary

Bridhaven Nursing Home in Mallow, Co Cork, seeks a Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will contribute to resident activities, assist with daily living, and support nursing staff. QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or higher degree preferred; 2+ years elder care experience recommended.

Qualifications

• 2+ years elder care experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and enhance resident activities and events.
• Supervise and assist in training and development of care assistants.
• Coordinate with Unit PIC and CNM to welcome new Residents and ensure they feel secure.
• Ensure highest quality care is delivered to assigned Residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living: washing, toileting, dressing, dining, social activities.
• Support nursing staff in day-to-day allocation of work.
