This Cork-based building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer to lead the mechanical building services design from early design through to construction support.

You will collaborate with clients, internal engineers and external teams to ensure compliant, coordinated designs delivered to programme. 7–10 years' experience and strong knowledge of Irish standards are required. Role offers up to €90,000 salary DOE, plus CPD support and strong Cork project pipeline.

The Company

This Cork based engineering consultancy delivers mechanical, electrical and project management services for pharmaceutical, MedTech, food, commercial and private sector clients. Their work includes M&E engineering design, energy efficiency design, cleanroom design, utility equipment design and construction design support.

With a strong Cork presence, the company offers a technically focused environment where experienced engineers can take ownership of design quality, client delivery and project coordination.

The Role: Senior Building Services Engineer

As Senior Building Services Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services packages from early design through to construction support.

You will work with clients, internal engineers, project managers and external design teams to ensure systems are practical, compliant, coordinated and delivered to programme.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have 7 to 10 years’ experience in building services engineering
• Proven experience required in mechanical services design
• Experience working with an M&E consultancy is required
• Strong knowledge of Irish building services standards and project delivery

Preferred Experience

• Pharmaceutical, MedTech, food or commercial sector experience preferred
• Cleanroom, utilities or energy efficiency design experience beneficial
• Client facing design team experience beneficial
