Job summary

Major Irish Residential Developer delivering large-scale housing schemes in Dublin seeks a Senior Building Services Engineer to lead M&E coordination across multiple residential projects. You will oversee installation, commissioning and handover, working with design consultants, site teams and subcontractors to meet programme targets and quality standards.

You will bring 4+ years in building services, strong leadership, and a focus on sustainability and modern building services technologies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in building services or M&E role within construction.
• Strong experience on residential or mixed-use developments.
• Excellent understanding of M&E installation, commissioning and handover.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple sites.

The business has a strong focus on quality, programme delivery, energy efficiency and modern construction methods. With continued residential development across Dublin, they are looking for an experienced Senior Building Services Engineer to strengthen their project delivery team.

The Role Senior Building Services Engineer

As a Senior Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in managing the coordination, installation and delivery of mechanical and electrical services across multiple residential projects. You will work closely with site teams, design consultants and subcontractors to ensure M&E systems are delivered to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on role with strong site presence, overseeing everything from early coordination through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring programme targets and quality benchmarks are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• 4 plus years' experience in a building services or M&E role within construction
• Strong experience on residential or mixed-use developments
• Excellent understanding of M&E installation, commissioning and handover
• Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineersHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple sites
• Strong communication and problem-solving ability
• Keen interest in sustainability and modern building services technologies
