Job summary

A leading technology company in Dublin is seeking an experienced Bridge Draftsman to lead drafting projects for various structures, including roads and rail. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Structural/Civil drafting environment, proficiency with Revit, and knowledge of BIM workflows. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, ensuring technical accuracy and effective teamwork with Engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Bridge drafting environment.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Structural/Civil drafting environment.
• Minimum of 3 years Revit modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge drafting projects on road, rail and pedestrian structures.
• Inspect bridge structures on-site.
• Develop and manage Junior Technicians.

Job description

• A recognised qualification in Construction.
• Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Bridge drafting environment.
• Have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Structural / Civil drafting environment.
• A minimum of 3 years Revit modelling experience.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D and/or Site 3D.
• Experience in leading bridge drafting projects on road, rail and pedestrian structures.
• Site experience in inspection of bridge structures.
• Knowledge and familiarity of materials such as concrete, steel and masonry.
• Collaborative Mindset. The ability to work closely with Bridge Engineers to resolve complex geometric challenges.
• Attention to Detail. An eagle eye for consistency, scale, and technical accuracy.
• Production of document registers.
• Experience in developing and management of Junior Technicians.

FOVOURABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• A full clean driving license
• A solid understanding of BIM workflows.
