Job summary

Uniphar Group seeks a Senior Design Lead to shape and protect the visual identity across Uniphar Retail, Supply Chain and Consumer brands in Ireland. You will lead campaigns, craft brand guidelines and elevate in‑house design capability.

You will mentor a Graphic Designer, drive design systems, and influence cross‑functional teams while championing responsible AI tools to accelerate concept development and maintain brand integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design experience in in‑house or agency environments.
• Strong portfolio showing brand identity development across multiple channels.
• Qualification in Visual Communications, Graphic Design or related discipline.
• Experience creating and applying brand guidelines and visual identity systems.
• Experience producing digital assets, including interactive formats, and print production techniques.
• Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Confidence presenting creative thinking and challenging briefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative projects from concept to delivery across brand campaigns, digital, print, retail and spatial touchpoints.
• Act as brand design guardian, evolving visual identities, design systems and brand guidelines.
• Translate objectives into distinctive concepts and creative solutions.
• Provide strategic design input into marketing campaigns, in‑store environments, packaging and customer experience initiatives.
• Remain hands‑on delivering priority work and supporting POS, digital assets, and presentations as needed.
• Manage and mentor one Graphic Designer with clear direction and development.
• Plan and manage design workflow, prioritising briefs and adapting to changing needs.
• Champion responsible use of AI‑enabled tools while maintaining brand integrity and governance.
• Direct and quality‑control external agencies and bring work in‑house when beneficial.
