Job summary

AstraZeneca plc’s new bulk drug substance site in College Park, Dublin, invites an experienced biotechnology manufacturing leader to drive on the floor from day one. This senior, hands-on role sets the standard for technical excellence, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes with automation and electronic batch records, and turn data into actions that improve yield, robustness, and speed while maintaining compliance in a cGMP

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in biotech manufacturing operations.
• Experience with process automation and electronic batch records.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to mentor teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end unit operations across cell culture to purification.
• Act as designee for shift lead to protect schedule and quality.
• Develop subject matter expertise across multiple process technologies.
• Operate manufacturing control systems and electronic records.
• Drive data-led improvements to yield and cycle time.
