Job summary

AstraZeneca in Dublin's College Park campus seeks a decisive leader to run end-to-end biologics drug substance manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality and reliability while delivering value in a rapidly evolving portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Operations, you will steer upstream and downstream processes through product release, champion continuous improvement, and partner with EHS, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations or related roles.
• Proven leadership across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of GMP and regulatory inspections.
• Experience with digital transformation in operations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end biologics manufacturing operations.
• Drive operational resilience, safety, quality and compliance.
• Integrate digital and AI to improve yield and maintenance.
• Mentor and develop high‑performing teams.
