Job summary

Glanua Ltd in Loughrea, Co. Galway is seeking a BIM Engineer to manage coordinated models and drawings for large water and wastewater projects. The role focuses on aligning design with the BIM plan, performing model checks, and coordinating with the design team.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering with BIM qualification.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in BIM modeling or drawing production.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage production of multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules.
• Align design development with the BIM execution plan and coordinate model sharing.
• Produce and maintain MIDP throughout the project.
• Participate in drawing/design reviews and feasibility studies.
• Liaise with project teams to confirm needs and timelines; take instructions from engineers.
