Job summary

Trust In SODA in Dublin is expanding its BI team and seeks a hands-on Technical Lead to own the data backbone—pipelines, semantic models, and Power BI reporting—while mentoring the team.

Responsibilities emphasize a strong technical focus with leadership to bridge business needs and technical execution, mentoring on SQL, PySpark, and Fabric, and owning automation strategy for the Lakehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• DP-700 certification is required; DP-600/PL-300 are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Keep data pipelines, semantic models and Power BI assets running at high integrity.
• Drive strategic optimizations (Direct Lake, incremental refresh) for a lean ETL.
• Bridge business needs and technical execution by translating logic into clear requirements.
• Review team output, mentor on SQL, PySpark and Fabric, and promote simplicity.
• Own cost and automation strategy across the Lakehouse.
