Job summary

The Recruitment Bureau is seeking an Accountant Banking Manager based in Ireland to oversee bank reconciliations, reporting, and fuel card reconciliations across Europe. The role involves managing a banking team, ensuring compliance with controls, and driving process improvements within a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years in a senior finance role, with professional accounting qualifications and strong SAP/Excel capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in a senior role in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Qualified Accountant with relevant industry experience preferred.
• Strong people management skills.
• Proficient in SAP and Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage bank reconciliations and accounting, and oversee daily reconciliation of bank accounts to SAP.
• Oversee bank clearing accounts and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Prepare and maintain periodic cashflow forecasts and monitor bank accounts.
• Review and approve daily payments and month-end reporting for all countries.
• Manage fuel card reconciliations and verification of card credits.
• Lead and develop a high-performing banking team with succession planning and coaching.
