Echobox in Ireland is seeking an experienced backend engineer to help shape the future of our AI-powered products.

You will work with product and data science teams to design, build, and maintain scalable services, deploy them to cloud environments, and ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend development experience in SaaS or tech environments.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java or Node.js with backend frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices and cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and scalable data storage.
• Collaborative mindset to work with data scientists on ML models.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the future path for our products with the Product team.
• Design, build, and maintain back-end services to support AI-powered products.
• Develop scalable systems for large data volumes and ML models.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to improve architecture and performance.
