Job summary

Pepper Advantage Technology Limited (PATL) is hiring a (Senior) Backend Engineer to join Project PRISM. The role focuses on building a cloud-native backend for web and mobile, with emphasis on scalable design, testability, and enterprise-grade quality. Hybrid work is offered across multiple geographies, including Dublin.

You will work with a Scrum team, drive API-based development, and mentor on best practices in a fast-moving credit management platform project.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# WebAPI/ASP.NET Core and SQL Server.
• Cloud-native design, preferably Azure, with modular approaches.
• Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS and IaC (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible).
• CI/CD practices with Azure DevOps; strong patterns and design concepts.
• Desirable: financial services domain knowledge; interest in Infra Eng.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the new software platform for web and mobile access.
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure code quality and alignment with system architecture.
• Manage codebase with audit and control capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work and meet releases.
• Partner with test teams to implement robust automated tests.
• Participate in Scrum, estimate sprint items, and review progress.
• Keep abreast of testing best practices and new trends.
