Job summary

Pepper Advantage Group is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join Project PRISM and build a scalable platform for web and mobile access. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver enterprise-grade software with a focus on quality and performance.

The role requires strong C# (WebAPI, ASP.NET Core), SQL Server, Azure SQL, CosmosDB and cloud-native design, plus experience with Angular, Azure, Kubernetes and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-grade backend systems in a product environment.
• Strong knowledge of C#, WebAPI and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of the new software platform.
• Design of a scalable, configurable cloud-native solution for multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure code quality and architectural alignment with strategy.
• Manage and maintain the codebase with audit and control capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise features and meet release timelines.
• Collaborate with test team to implement automated testing in agile sprints.
• Participate in Scrum planning and sprint estimation.
• Stay updated on testing practices and new trends.
