Job summary

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the core systems powering our adtech platform. You will work across user-facing product systems and internal tooling to ensure fast, reliable, and scalable services that support millions of users globally.

You will design robust Node.js/NestJS APIs, mentor engineers, and partner with DevOps to optimize CI/CD while collaborating with Product, Design, and QA to translate requirements into solid technical specs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, backend-focused.
• Proficient with Node.js and NestJS for designing scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable) and containerization (Docker) and IaC (Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Node.js RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to translate requirements into technical specs.
