Version 1 is seeking a Senior Azure Administrator to provide senior-level operational support across the Platform Azure team. The role covers multiple UK and ROI customers, including Azure, hybrid infrastructure, on-premises virtualization, and backup platforms.

The successful candidate will act as a senior escalation point, maintain documentation, and drive improvements. You will mentor junior team members, contribute to automation, and ensure service reliability while aligning with ITIL and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure environments in production.
• Experience supporting on-premises infrastructure including ESXi/VMware and Commvault backup.
• Experience with incident, problem, change, and service improvement activities.
• Strong ITIL understanding and ability to document technical processes.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior Azure administration and infrastructure support across multiple managed service customers.
• Act as escalation point for Azure, Windows, identity, networking, and monitoring incidents.
• Support Azure services including VMs, storage, AD, Azure Monitor, backup, and security controls.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design solutions and implement improvements.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and technical designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the Platform Azure team.
• Provide customer-facing updates and reporting on incidents and changes.
