Job summary
NeoDyne is seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to join our Cork office, heading the Integration & Digital Manufacturing team on cutting-edge projects in energy, life sciences and food & beverage. You will drive design, development and commissioning of PLC, HMI/SCADA solutions and ensure robust automation systems across sites.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 7–10 years in automation engineering, with hands-on Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Schneider PLC work, plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Systems or related field.
- 7–10 years of automation engineering experience.
- Experience with PLC programming on Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Schneider.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers delivering projects at customer sites.
- Design and coding of industrial PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions.
- Oversee commissioning of control systems in the field and ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Support proposal development and technical input for tenders.
- Mentor graduate/junior engineers.
