Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Limerick seeks a Principal Automation Engineer to join the Automation team. The role involves programming, diagnosing and troubleshooting Allen Bradley Rockwell PLCs and HMIs on automated process equipment, and leading projects from conception through turnover.

Candidates will develop software under change control, produce design documents, and support multiple departments while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science/Engineering
• 8 years’ experience with validated automation systems in pharma manufacturing environment
• Strong PLC/HMI and control systems knowledge

Responsibilities

• Program, diagnose and troubleshoot Allen Bradley Rockwell PLC and HMI for automated equipment.
• Lead automation projects from conception to turnover and provide guidance.
• Develop software solutions with change control and assess impact on Manufacturing equipment.
• Produce engineering design docs, evaluations and test plans for cGMP equipment.
