Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to join the Site Engineering team at Raheen, Limerick. This role leads I&C activities across projects from concept through commissioning and startup in a GMP regulated pharmaceutical setting.

You will coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Operations and Quality teams and provide technical leadership for instrumentation and control systems across manufacturing and facility

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Automation Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in instrumentation, controls and automation.
Experience leading I&C engineering activities for pharma/biotech or other regulated industries.
Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and GMP manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Act as primary I&C representative in project teams from concept through handover.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, Operations and Quality groups.
Provide technical leadership for instrumentation and control systems across manufacturing, utility and facility infrastructure projects.
Support troubleshooting and root cause investigations of I&C performance issues.
Review instrumentation wiring diagrams, P&IDs, I/O lists, control narratives and vendor packages.
Lead design reviews and participate in HAZOPs, risk assessments and design verifications.
