Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a Dublin-based pharma manufacturing environment. This hands-on role requires taking ownership of automation projects across a complex site, solving challenging technical problems and driving automation capabilities.

You will work with critical production systems, PLCs, and Rockwell/Allen Bradley technologies, with autonomy to influence how systems evolve while remaining technically hands-on.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Automation Engineering.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation technologies.
• Hands-on PLC and control systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automation projects across the manufacturing site.
• Work with PLCs, control systems and industrial automation technologies.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex equipment and automation issues.
• Identifying opportunities to improve system performance and reliability.
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of automation processes.
