Job summary

Crowe Ireland is seeking an Assistant Manager–Audit to join its Dublin practice, reporting to the RI Director and Audit Partners. You will lead seniors and trainees on diverse audit assignments and help grow client portfolios while ensuring quality and timeliness.

You will work within a busy audit department, develop project management and client relationship skills, and participate in performance management and training initiatives as part of the firm’s career framework.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) essential.
• 3+ years PQE
• Demonstrated understanding of multiple audit clients and topical issues
• Strong technical competence
• Proven ability to work on diverse clients across sectors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Project manage and assist with delivery of a range of portfolios; supervise juniors and review working papers and finalise financial statements for RI sign-off.
• Identify appropriate resolution plans and guidance to address non-compliance areas.
• Manage WIP, billing, timesheets, recoverability, scheduling, planning, staffing and compliance with firm regulations.
• Mentor and motivate teams; participate in Performance Management and deliver training.
• Assist with tenders and fee quotes as required.
• Lead audits in conjunction with the Director RI on planning and client advisory.
• Develop client relationships to grow the portfolio and maintain high-quality delivery.
• Ensure assignments meet high standards within timescales and budgets; provide clear rationale.
