Job summary

U.S. Bank/Elavon is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design, build, secure and operate enterprise APIs linking cloud platforms with on‑prem banking systems.

You will create reliable integration services across core banking, payments, fraud and CRM, following regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with solution architects, platform engineers and security teams to deliver API products that support synchronous REST and event‑driven integrations, with OpenAPI contracts and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing APIs/integration services in regulated environments.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Hybrid cloud to on‑prem integration experience.
• Strong API design, implementation and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver RESTful APIs and integration services for cloud to on‑prem banking systems.
• Define API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger) and ensure backward compatibility.
• Implement security controls: OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, JWT, rate limiting.
• Build observable, reliable integrations with CI/CD pipelines.
