Job summary

U.S. Bank / Elavon is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join the Payments Engineering team.

You will design, build, and maintain Android applications for our payment terminal platform, ensuring secure, reliable payment experiences for merchants and customers. You will work closely with product, QA, and backend teams in a regulated environment, mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions while applying Kotlin/Java skills, Android architecture components, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android architecture components and design patterns (MVVM/MVP).
• Hands-on with RESTful APIs, DI, coroutines, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with hardware-integrated Android systems is a plus.
• Solid secure coding and performance optimization practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities
