Job summary

Toast is looking for an Android Software Engineer III to join our Banking team in Dublin. In this hybrid role, you’ll build financial capabilities in the ToastNow Android app, helping restaurant owners manage their finances.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners across Toast and with the US-based ToastNow Android team to deliver features that are reliable, scalable, and delightful for users. Hybrid in-office 2 days.

Qualifications

• Experience building Android apps with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with modern Android architecture such as MVI.
• Ability to own features from design through delivery.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Passion for great user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and delivery of Banking features in ToastNow Android app.
• Work with product, design, and engineering partners to shape features and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with the US-based ToastNow Android team on architecture, feature integration and delivery.
• Build reliable, maintainable and well-tested experiences that make financial tasks straightforward for restaurant owners.
• Partner with teams across Toast to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building - contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity across the team.
