Job summary

Partner company in Ireland is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Analytics to design and build sophisticated analytics solutions across automotive and consumer datasets. You will connect data pipelines, models, and user-facing apps in a modern cloud data environment, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 8+ years of software development, or 6+ years with a Master’s, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Proven delivery of complex, multi-team software or data engineering initiatives.
• Strong production experience with Python, SQL, and Git, especially in data pipelines.
• Hands-on with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir Foundry or equivalent.
• Knowledge of scalable data architecture, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React for customer-facing apps.

Responsibilities

• Design analytics solutions that combine data pipelines, models, and user-facing experiences.
• Lead architecture and code reviews; improve testing practices and standards.
• Partner with data scientists and AI engineers to move prototypes into production.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
• Define end-to-end analytics solution design including data contracts and model endpoints.
• Evolve solutions on cloud data platforms like Snowflake/Databricks/Palantir Foundry.
• Evaluate architecture options based on cost, risk, and scalability.
• Communicate trade-offs to stakeholders and other teams.
