Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a senior analog/mixed-signal IC layout engineer for the Data Center & Energy group in Edinburgh, Scotland or Limerick, Ireland.

You will own the layout of large-scale analog/digital sub blocks and collaborate with design, foundry, reliability, and failure analysis teams to meet performance and quality targets. The role involves working on precision technologies including ADCs, DACs, references, amplifiers, and switches, with exposure to full verification flows such as

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of full custom IC layout experience (analog/mixed-signal).
• Experience using Cadence Virtuoso with VXL.
• Strong LVS/DRC/ANTENNA verification skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of layout for large-scale analog/digital sub blocks, including scheduling, floorplanning, verification and tapeout.
• Collaborate with design and support teams (foundry, assembly, reliability, failure analysis, etc.) to achieve desired product performance and quality.
