Job summary

Oliver James is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for a 6-month contract (strong view to extend) to build and scale production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows. The role sits at the intersection of AI and software engineering, designing agent orchestration and integrating AI into developer tooling.

You will build RAG and evaluation frameworks and shape both front-end and back-end solutions that enable AI-driven software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI agents, orchestration and tool integration.
• Front-end and back-end development experience.
• Familiarity with Claude or LangGraph or similar frameworks.
• Experience building RAG and knowledge pipelines.
• Experience with AI evaluation, testing and quality frameworks.
• Understanding guardrails, validation and cost optimisation.
