Job summary

Sumitomo Mitsui Finance Dublin Limited seeks a senior automation engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade automations across Tungsten Automation, UiPath, and Microsoft Power Platform. You will translate complex business processes into secure, scalable solutions and embed AI capabilities for intelligent document processing and knowledge discovery.

You will own the automation platforms end-to-end, guiding architecture, governance, security, and operational resilience, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with enterprise automation platforms and production solutions.
• Hands-on delivery with at least two of Tungsten Automation, UiPath, or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience owning an enterprise automation platform in a controlled production environment.
• Experience designing AI-enabled automation (document processing, knowledge discovery, summarisation, content generation).
• Knowledge of agentic AI patterns, multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy enterprise-grade automations using Tungsten Automation, UiPath, and Power Platform.
• Translate business processes and control requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
• Provide senior developer expertise across workflow automation, RPA, low-code, APIs, and system integration.
• Establish reusable components, patterns, and engineering standards to improve delivery quality and speed.
• Embed AI capabilities into automation workflows for document classification, extraction, validation, summarisation, and content generation.
• Own automation platforms end to end, including architecture, roadmap, environments, upgrades, and licensing.
