Job summary

Marsh Risk Tech in Dublin is seeking a hands-on Lead Agentic Engineer to prototype, shape, and deliver strategic technology initiatives for Marsh Risk Product Development & Engineering.

You will partner with business, product, and security teams, design end-to-end solutions, and build production-ready software across the stack using modern full-stack technologies including MERN. You will also embed AI/LLMs into the SDLC and operate in a global, time-zone-spread environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full-stack software engineering experience.
• Ability to translate business needs into working solutions.
• Experience delivering end-to-end software from discovery through production.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled development tools.
• Experience with the MERN stack.
• Experience with Camunda or similar platforms.
• Backend services in Python, Node, or Java.
• Experience with Postgres and Mongo databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and define options.
• Design end-to-end solutions aligned to objectives and standards.
• Build prototypes, MVPs, and production-ready software.
• Investigate external integration options and APIs.
• Assess feasibility, security, data flow, and operations.
• Work across teams to move ideas from discovery to delivery.
• Support AI-enabled delivery with patterns and guardrails.
• Make sound technical decisions in ambiguous environments.
