Job summary

Marsh is seeking an AI Engineer to bring preview-stage AI technologies into production environments. You will work on LLM-based systems, memory and retrieval, agent orchestration, guardrails, and MCP tooling, rapidly moving proofs-of-concept to production-ready capabilities that Marsh engineers and teams can adopt.

You will coach peers, participate in architecture forums, and ensure enterprise-wide correct configuration of AI tools.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience in Python and/or TypeScript, with production systems
• Hands-on AI engineering: integrating, deploying, and operating LLM-based systems
• Experience writing infrastructure-as-code for cloud deployments (Crossplane preferred)
• Comfort across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Active curiosity and fast learner with a drive for excellence
• Ability to evaluate new tech quickly and form clear recommendations
• Excellent communication to explain complex tech to diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Run focused proofs-of-concept to evaluate AI technologies against Marsh use cases
• Select and recommend technologies with clear guidance
• Productionise capabilities with repeatable deployment patterns
• Direct AI coding agents ensuring correct tool use and Marsh standards
• Become SME in AI domains and coach peers
• Engage with Marsh business units to understand needs and feed requirements
• Share knowledge through blogs, demos and internal presentations
