Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Accounting Director or Practice Director in Dublin to join the senior leadership team of a well-established accountancy practice. You will manage a diverse SME/client portfolio, acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior management.

The role offers significant autonomy with a focus on growth, cloud accounting adoption, and service delivery excellence, with flexible, hybrid working options and a strong progression track.

Formación

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• 7+ years’ post-qualification experience in accountancy practice.
• At least 2 years’ experience at Senior Manager level or above.
• Strong experience with SME clients and statutory financial statements.
• Experience in accounting advisory, due diligence or business reviews.
• Proven people management, mentoring and delegation skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and commercial abilities.
• Experience with cloud accounting software.
• Interest in accounting technology, AI and digital transformation.

Responsabilidades

• Managing a portfolio of clients and developing long-term relationships.
• Providing commercial accounting, audit and business advisory guidance.
• Identifying opportunities across tax, audit, outsourcing and advisory services.
• Leading client meetings and presenting financial insights.
• Managing, mentoring and developing accountants and trainees.
• Overseeing workflow, resources and service delivery.
• Leading due diligence, restructuring and business review assignments.
• Supporting company secretarial and compliance requirements.
• Advancing the use of cloud accounting, automation and AI technology.
• Monitoring fees, billing, work in progress and cash collection.
• Contributing to staff appraisals and performance development.
