Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse portfolio, preparing management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings in line with statutory requirements and firm standards.
- Provide high‑quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services, building strong client relationships and offering clear, commercially focused insights.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, ensuring full compliance and delivering practical, solution‑driven advice.
- Guide and support junior team members through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing, contributing to efficient internal processes and consistent service delivery.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with experience at Senior Accountant level.
- Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience within a professional practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP and solid familiarity with FRS 102.
- Strong understanding of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
