Job summary

Northern Trust in Limerick is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance Team. The role focuses on report production, issue resolution and ad-hoc support, covering monthly and quarterly reports, capital, liquidity and balance sheets across Europe, UK and the Middle East.

The successful candidate will collaborate with operations and other Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance, develop knowledge of reporting tools, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with several years of experience in a multi-currency financial services environment.
• Experience in regulatory and statutory financial reporting with a large organization.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines by multi-tasking and prioritizing deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly reporting and reconciliations for multiple entities across regions.
• Assess impact of changes to business offerings and new territories.
• Communicate financial results clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop knowledge of regulatory reporting tools and their configuration.
