Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Ireland is seeking aSenior Accountant to join its established finance team. You will lead period close, consolidation and reconciliation at group and business unit levels, and drive continuous improvement within Accounting & Reporting.

You will coordinate the annual statutory audit with external auditors and provide decision support across the business, ensuring robust record-to-report controls. Recently qualified or 2+ years PQE ACA/ACCA candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent with recent PQE.
• 2+ years post-qualification experience in accounting.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead period close, consolidation and reconciliation activities at Group and Business Unit level.
• Coordinate the annual statutory audit process, engaging with external auditors and delivering outputs to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to various projects within the Accounting & Reporting function.
• Oversee and review accounting and reporting processes, ensuring record-to-report controls are operating effectively.
• Address ad hoc queries and provide decision support across the business
