Job summary

Berkley Group in South Tipperary is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the finance team on a permanent, onsite basis. The role involves preparing accurate financial information, supporting month-end reporting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

You will maintain accounting records (Sage 200), manage VAT, assist with budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and liaise with auditors and banks. Qualified accountants with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant designation (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
• Experience in a similar accounting role.
• Experience with Sage 200 or a similar ERP/accounting system desirable.
• Experience with project costing, WIP reporting or contract accounting desirable.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

A growing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to play a key role in our finance department. Working as part of our accounts team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial information, supporting month-end reporting, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

Have You:
